The Rancé family played a decisive role during the last two centuries in bringing to perfection perfumery soaps.

All soap designs are modern reproductions of the antique Rancé moulds, today kept in the Rancé Company Museum.

After one week of rest the soap is mixed thoroughly with perfume and the special ingredients (creams, cosmetic oils and plant extracts) that characterise the Rancé formula. The bars are moulded very precisely and slowly. The specialist staff pick out only the perfect bars, only Rancé is able to produce soap bars with such fine etching.

The bars are left to age for at least one month in a controlled temperature and humidity room. This gives the soap greater stability and uniformity, and helps the perfume develop its strength and harmony. It also has a crucial effect on quantity and quality of its creamy leather.
